I have been pondering what I would like to achieve within the Australasian Researchers Network over the next month or so, here is what I have come up with:

Linkedin Group
This is now officially launched. I am hoping that through the Linked group we will be able to encourage more participation on this site, as well as advertise our presence to more people who are interested in research.

More Information
I would love to have more posts on the blog and in the forums about search related topics as well as any issues you come across in your research/sourcing adventures. I will be posting some more stuff soon, promise. Anyone is free to post.

Real Live Networking
Most of all I hope that we can all get together sometime, this will be a great chance to catch up with those you know and meet those you don't know.

So...
I propose meeting on the evening of Monday 31st of March, my first choice would be the Bavarian Bier Café on O'Connell in Wynyard, it has a pretty relaxed atmosphere and an area with couches so we can relax.
