I caught up with an old family friend today who is in the recruiting space, although for a completely unrelated industry. During our conversation she mentioned some of the roles she is actively looking for. After I hung up I sent her a link to a search I'd run based on one of the criteria she'd mentioned. Recently I completed the AIRS Searchlab 2008 course and one of the elements that they discuss is "Flipsearch", finding links to a particular domain.

The facilitator (who was extremely good) let us know that Flipsearches can only be completed in Yahoo! or Exalead with the "linkdomain:" or "link:" commands respectively. She also mentioned that it is completely impossible to perform a flip search through Google, so don't bother trying.
